CTG Employee Spotlight: Jim Lee

In this new series, we’re shining the spotlight on CTG employees, interview style! For our first edition, please meet Jim Lee. Jim started at CTG as a Sales Manager, and at the beginning of 2018 he took on the role of Sales Business Administrator.

How long have you worked at CTG?
6 years, since 2012.

Which CTG team member are you most grateful for? Why?
Kim Fisher. Kim keeps me on track when I have multiple project deadlines, and has “walked me back from the ledge” a few times!

What do you think makes CTG stand out from our competition?
CTG’s ability to integrate all aspects of a project, including AV, Media and Entertainment/Broadcast, and IT into a cohesive and comprehensive solution.

What kind of a person do you think makes a good CTG employee?
Someone who does what they say they will do.

What’s your favorite part of working at CTG?
Sharing what I have learned in my sales career with people who are eager to learn and improve, while learning from them in return. Growth happens in two directions!

What advice would you give a new CTG employee?
Take the initiative. Hit the ground running, and bring new ideas to your manager. Have a goal in mind for your career.

Tell us something else about yourself that your colleagues and clients may not know.
I’ve played the trombone in several bands. Most recently I’ve been playing with a cover band. It’s fun and a great way to let off steam.
