Jim Wile, Managing Principal

Jim Wile and partner Steve McCormick founded CTG in 1991 with extensive experience and a vision for heightened service and capabilities in the audio/visual and broadcast arena.  After graduating from the Peabody Conservatory of Music at Johns Hopkins University, Jim gained engineering and technical experience at Eastman’s Recording Studio in Rochester, New York, later moving on to WXXI-TV as a Master Control Operator, Audio Specialist, and Engineer in Charge. Once Jim made his way south, he worked as an Audio Engineer with Crawford Communications, one of the largest tele-production companies in the country. He continues to expand his expertise and clientele by obtaining virtually every major certification and affiliation in the industry, and enhancing CTG’s exceptional offerings across the United States.


Steven E. McCormick, Executive Vice President

As co-founder, Steve McCormick brings a wealth of experience to CTG. Upon graduating magna cum laude with a degree in Commercial Music/Recording from Georgia State University, he launched his career at Cheshire Sound/Musiplex in Atlanta, serving as General Manager.  In 1989, Steve was hired by Crawford Communications as an Audio Engineer and later promoted to Chief Audio Engineer, overseeing 10 audio production suites and a full staff.  He is involved with the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers, Audio Engineering Society, and Professional Systems Network International, and is accredited as a Certified Technology Specialist by InfoComm International. Steve’s expertise and strong management skills are instrumental in the success of CTG, and he continues to guide the business while further broadening CTG’s contributions.


Jim Lee,  Sales Manager

As Sales Manager, Jim Lee provides a unique, well-rounded perspective in his approach to CTG’s sales efforts. His management experience in handling national sales teams and major accounts enables him to bring a sophisticated approach to selling without losing the personal touch that has brought CTG to national prominence. He strongly emphasizes the development of successful and repeatable processes, combined with a desire to allow members of the sales staff to grow in their individual styles.


Bob Maier, Operations Manager

Bob Maier joined CTG in 2016 and brings a new level of experience to the technical operation of the company. Bob’s expertise includes close to 20 years of experience as a General Manager, and while his background is technically focused, he concentrates his efforts on the business of project execution including asset management, scheduling, training, and technology specific subject matters. Bob knows the importance of having a quality technical plan as well as the value of understanding the financial aspect of a project, therefore, resulting in successful outcomes for CTG’s clients.


Mohammad Zahid, Chief Technology Officer

Mohammad Zahid serves as Chief Technology Officer for CTG and is responsible for the IT Consulting and Managed Services Division that was acquired from Sound Enterprises in 2012. Mohammad has been a key factor in the growth of this department and remains focused on strengthening the offerings of hosted and managed services while driving the company forward in both sales and innovation. Mohammad graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Managerial Sciences.  He holds many industry-related accreditations, including the CDCDP, ITMLE, and ITILv3 foundation certifications, currently serves on the Board of Directors for Atlanta Chapter of AFCOM, and has been involved with multiple speaking engagements for such organizations as Datacenter Dynamics and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG).


Kristin Ferguson, Director of Service

Kristin Ferguson serves as Director of Service for the IT Consulting and Managed Services Division of Comprehensive Technical Group, and is responsible for both client and servicing including incident management, change management, support and scheduling for CTG’s broadcast services, and IT Service Desk. Kristin brings over 20 years’ experience as an innovative and customer focused IT professional who has worked both in IT and telecommunications. She is known for building strong relationships, and our clients recognize her as a dedicated partner that cares about their business.
