Customer: Georgia Dome, Georgia

Scope of Work: Entertainment and Sports Venue (home of the Atlanta Falcons).  71,250+ seating capacity

Technical Solutions Overview: Full system design and integration for digital conversion of Production Facility for large arena displays, stadium suites, public areas, remote production truck bays and press areas. Evertz MVP Multiviewer display system, GV Zodiak Production Switcher and Ensemble Designs terminal equipment.


Customer: Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia

Scope of Work: HD Video Replay System Installation,

Technical Solutions Overview: CTG installed a new high-definition video-replay system for the recently renovated McCamish Pavilion. CTG deployed the new ESPN3-specified Ross Carbonite and xPression system for streaming events on ESPN3. In addition, CTG installed Hitachi cameras and a Tightrope Zee Play slowmo system.


Customer: Houston Host Committee/Houston Rockets, Texas

Scope of Work: High-definition Video Replay System Renovation

Technical Solutions Overview: CTG provided an HD video-replay system for the Toyota Center. This system includes cameras, lenses, video production switcher, multiple channels of replay and technical furniture. Four Avid editing systems with centralized storage were integrated into the overall digital workflow.


Customer: Florida Panthers, Florida

Scope of Work: Video Control Room Renovation

Technical Solutions Overview: CTG was responsible for renovating the video control room, including an upgrade to HD for the BB&T Center. In addition, Panasonic, the scoreboard integrator, hired CTG to integrate the racks for the equipment supporting the scoreboard.


Customer: Cleveland Cavaliers, Ohio

Scope of Work: Video Control Room Renovation

Technical Solutions Overview: CTG was responsible for renovating and upgrading the video control room for the home of the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers, Quicken Loans Arena. CTG worked closely with ANC and Grass Valley to oversee the integration of the control room that supports the largest video screen in any arena in the United States. CTG’s control room routes signal to over 5,550 square feet of LED display and features five cameras (including one super-slowmo camera), dual six-channel replay units and four scoreboard mounted PTZ cameras.


Customer: Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Virginia

Scope of Work: Multi-purpose Control Room/Video Replay Renovation

Technical Solutions Overview: CTG installed a multi-purpose control room/video-replay upgrade in the Merryman Center. The new control room supports video operations for Lane Stadium, Cassel Coliseum and several other on-campus sports venues via an extensive fiber network. The system has dual control rooms enabling simultaneous events. A Ross backbone (router, switcher, CG) ensures compatibility with ESPN3 streaming.
